Best Whey Protein Brand

Question...

What is the best whey protein brand for you?

I need to pack on some muscles. I've heard that Designer Whey is the best brand out there, but I've also been hearing about Syntha-6. I've used Optimum before and its good, but I want to use other brand now.

I've Heard Syntrax Nectar is good but it's pretty expensive. If that is not a factor for you however than go with the naturals kind because it is better for you than the normal or sweet kind.

The Best Whey Protein

Protein powder intake every day, in addition to increasing muscle strength and development, can improve immune system health, improve the healing of wounds after surgery or injury, and support a healthy skin, per research.

The body needs daily protein because muscles and tissues are built from protein, and the body does not store extra protein anywhere. Only the need for water is more important than the need for adequate protein for the human body.

Some people like to supplement the protein in their food with a fast, easy protein shake. Protein shakes are in my opinion probably the most important supplements that exist. First off, unless you are taking something crazy like 800 grams of it a day or more, they are completely safe. No side effects or anything. Why do I use it and why is it so important? Well, because protein is the most important part of your diet, whether your goals are to increase muscle and get bigger and stronger, or lose weight and lose fat and get/stay lean. Protein is the building block of muscle, and without enough of it, your body won't build muscle.

Protein powders are made from four basic sources: whey (from milk), egg, soy, and rice. Protein powders can also be a combination of one or more ingredients. These concentrated sources of protein are made into a powder, which then becomes a liquid protein shake when mixed with water, fruit juice, or milk. Additionally, protein powders can be sprinkled on cereal, stirred into soups or stews, and cooked into baked goods.

Protein powder is designed to be taken every day as a dietary supplement. Even if you aren't a body-builder, drinking a daily protein powder shake can have nutritional benefits. While many nutritionists advise consuming protein throughout the day, a healthy boost of protein first thing in the morning can stabilize your blood sugar levels throughout the rest of the day.

So the obvious thing to be thinking now is, "why do I need protein shakes, can't I just get enough of it from regular foods?" The answer to that question is yes! But the problem here is, since we all know that for best results we should try to eat at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, it gets VERY hard to eat so much regular food every day. Not many people have time to make chicken breasts all day long, which is where protein shakes come in. They take just a minute or two to prepare, just scoop out the powder, put it in a cup, pour in a liquid of some kind (anything from water, to milk, to fruit juice), and mix it with a spoon for about 20 seconds, and drink. Each scoop usually has about 17.5 grams of protein (with basically zero fat and zero carbs) and is WAY more convenient then eating a regular food.

I use Whey Protein Powder for my protein shakes. You must first make sure that the brand you buy is top quality, because there are tons of low quality powders around. You also have to buy the one that is completely natural and tastes good. All the powders and canned protein shakes I've tried, there was one that tasted best. It comes in different  flavors, Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry. I personally like the Chocolate and Banana best.

And the price. A bottle of Protein Powder (2 pounds) is usually sold for - at your local store, which is where I used to buy it until I found a web site that sells is cheaper, as they are the manufacturers themselves and there is no middle man. They also have over 2,000 completely natural vitamins, minerals, herbs, and their prices are at 30 percent of what you normally pay in regular shops.
